A casual engagement shoot in paris
Paris, Paris…
As I thrive to shoot more wedding in my beloved hometown of Paris, Alice and Thomas came as a true gift.
I was so glad to be able to shoot in my own city, even if the double fracture (and torn ligaments) on my right hand was a real handicap. I still snapped some sweet photographs with a digital and an analog camera (first picture below), and the two love birds were so happy that it was all worth it.
The weather and my hand situation forced us to shoot efficiently. We decided to take some photos at Alice and Thomas’ apartment first, which is always a good idea as it puts people at ease in their comfort zone and offers more intimacy. We then headed to a little street nearby for a bit. The Rue des Termopyles was a perfect background for our shoot, with its vines growing everywhere and its colorful doors (and its curious cat).
I am now back in New York in the swing of wedding season, but I cannot wait to go back to France and shoot some more, so amenez-moi avec vous/take me with you!
