The day was cold and rainy, but nothing could gave taken the fun out of this one! Dana and Kai’s Spring wedding at Milk and Roses in Brooklyn was a highlight of my year.
Kai was like a little kid all day, giddy and excited to marry the love of his life. They had invited 50 people to witness their union, which made for a very intimate and intentional celebration. There were a lot of tears during the ceremony, a lot of champagne during dinner, and lots and lots of dancing under the stars afterwards. The rain cleared on time for a little night time photo session outside, which allowed me to play with direct flash.
Milk and Roses was the perfect setting for this love party. It is very intimate and full of adorable details, and their indoor option is a great one in case it rains. It is right in the heart of Greenpoint, which allows couples to take pictures on the waterfront if they wish, with the skyline in the background (you can learn more about the venue over here!)
