I will always keep a fond memory of Phoebe and Sarah’s same sex New York City Hall elopement. They had been in a long distance relationship for a while, being from the UK and Luxembourg, respectively.
They finally moved to New York together and decided to have a low key, family-oriented wedding at City Hall with a photographer that was nice enough that they would be part of the celebration. So when they came over to my house and me cat purred on their lap the whole time, it was a done deal.
Phoebe and Sarah wore adorable matching kitty rings and looks like angels when they arrived at City Hall: all in white, with flower crowns and radiating smiles on their faces.
The girls were excited and impatient while waiting for their number to be called and couldn’t stop giggling. Kisses were given, tears were shared, and those two were married.
Congrats to the two happy wives, and I wish you all the best here, in the UK, Luxembourg, or anywhere you love will take you!
