Who hasn’t dreamt of having a French wedding in a chateau? And who hasn’t dreamt of SHOOTING one? Anne-Laure and Richard trusted me to capture their special day, and boy am I glad they did. As soon as all the details were nailed down I packed my gear bag and a suitcase, I crossed the Atlantic, and off I went to witness their beautiful religious ceremony followed by an unforgettable wedding reception at the Chateau de Bois le Roi.
Anne-Laure and Richard wore their hearts on their sleeves so the day was full of very palpable emotions, and it was truly beautiful to watch all of it unfold. As someone who is more interested in the raw emotions than overly directed poses, these two were the perfect clients. They let go of everything and enjoyed the day fully with all its tears and laughters.
The chateau itself was a gorgeous setting and a treat to work in. It had the prettiest garden with statues and fountains and a great reception room that opened on an adorable courtyard. It was a perfect spot for a summer celebration.
I will never forget this beautiful French wedding at the Chateau de Bois le Roi. And who knows, maybe my pictures will inspire you to say I do in France!
